NCCER’s Core Curriculum is a prerequisite to all other Level 1 craft curriculum. Trainees learn the basic skills needed to continue education in any craft area, studying modules such as Basic Safety,Power Tools, Construction Math, Communication Skills and Introduction to Construction Drawings.

NCCER’s Your role in the Green Environment modules teaches trainees fundamental information on the green environment, green construction practices and green building rating systems. Trainees will complete exercises on calculating their carbon footprint, as well as complete worksheets on inventorying household and product impacts.

• The curriculum has been approved for 15 general continuing education hours under GBCI’s Credential Maintenance Program.
